tory: Malpractice starts by showing an operation going on but something goes wrong learning to the death of the patient. We follow lawyer Beth Garrett (Zimbalist) as she plays the working parents because of personal issues with her husband Ken (Flanagan). When an old friend Ellen Robertson (Carteris) comes to Beth asking to get involved in a malpractice case against the hospital where he fiancée dies. To make things interesting Ken once worked at the hospital but lost his job there and Beth used to represent the hospital in all their law suits.
As the case rolls on it becomes apparent that a nurse may have been in the operating room that shouldn’t have been there and that she has gone missing. The truth keeps coming out from the previous case that shows how Ken could be the motive for what is happening. When Beth starts getting uneasy because of Ellen turning up in her life she starts to question who was really involved in the death.
Malpractice really is one of those made for television movies that for some reason ended up on the movie channels over here in the UK. It is very simple to watch and feels like it could easily be an episode of a television show. It has a few twists and turns but nothing really shocking. I doubt many people will have seen this and I doubt very many will go out there way to see such a standard storyline that nothing is memorable.
